Biography
Maurice Rowe was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. His dance adventures began in 1996 at a local country bar called Club Dance.
Maurice started competing in 2003 at various UCWDC events, leading him to a spot at the UCWDC Worlds 2004, where he competed in the intermediate divisions, novelty and funky. He placed 5th in both categories.
Also in 2004 Maurice, and co-choreographer Melissa Daum, placed 1st in choreography at the Vegas Dance Explosion. This guaranteed them a teaching slot for the following year. The pair returned to the V.D.E. in 2005, and Maurice was voted Dancer of the Year by his peers in the First Annual Dancers Choice Awards.
Maurice's dances Mega Sexxy and Fathers Waltz have been published in the UK publication Line Dancer Magazine.

ed:
- JG2 Line Dance Marathon in Raleigh, North Carolina
- Florida Masters in Ft Lauderdale Florida
- Vegas Dance Explosion in Las Vegas, Nevada
- Baltimore Bash in Baltimore, Maryland
In January 2006 Maurice visited England, where he instructed at Strictly Line Dance, a BossyBoots event in Blackpool. While he was there, he also did guest instructions at local classes, including Rob Fowlers.
Maurice's dance After Party has been selected as a competition dance for Masters In Line.
